EXPLANATORY NOTE This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect. These regulations prescribe the levy payable towards the funds of the problem gambling committee, approved under Part VIIA of the Gambling and Lotteries Act 1977, by societies licensed to conduct games of chance involving the use of gaming machines. The levy is $83.00 in respect of each gaming machine subject to a society's licence.
