3. Pest control on land administered by Department of
Conservation---(1) The Bay of Plenty Regional Animal Pest Management
Strategy applies to the Crown to the extent that the Crown must,---
(a) So far as is practicable, carry out work in accordance with that
strategy, to the value of $36,000 each financial year, on land
owned by the Crown and administered by the Department of
Conservation under the Conservation Act 1987 or under any Act
listed in the First Schedule of the Conservation Act 1987:
(b) Pay the amount of $24,000 each financial year to the Bay of Plenty
Regional Council for general administrative functions as
specified in that strategy.
(2) The obligations in subclause (1) (a) are subject to the limitation
in clause 4.
