63   Court may order debtor to be arrested

63 Court may order debtor to be arrested

  (1) On the application of any creditor made at any time after the filing of
a petition against a debtor and before adjudication, or on the application of
the Assignee made at any time after he has been appointed an interim receiver
or after the order of adjudication and before the discharge of the bankrupt, if
it appears that there is probable ground for believing that the debtor is about
to go abroad or quit his place of residence either temporarily or permanently
with a view to defeating, delaying, or embarrassing proceedings under this Act,
the Court may by warrant cause the debtor to be arrested and kept in custody
until he finds sureties to the satisfaction of the Court that he will appear
and attend from time to time as the Court orders until he is discharged by the
Court.

  (2) Any person so arrested may apply to the Court at any time for a summons
against the Assignee or creditor to show cause why he should not be discharged
from custody.
