Refusal of application in certain cases
[17. Refusal of application in certain cases---(1) If it appears to
the Commissioner in the case of any application for a patent that the
use of the invention in respect of which the application is made would
be contrary to morality, the Commissioner may refuse the application.
(2) An appeal to the Court shall lie from any decision of the
Commissioner under this section.]
This section was substituted for the original s. 17 by s. 3 of the
Patents Amendment Act 1994.
