[50. Expenditure by territorial authorities---Subject to [[section
 46]] of this Act, all expenditure by any territorial authority, within
 the meaning of the Local Government Act 1974, for the purposes of this
 Act shall be charged against the Works and Services Account or Accounts
 or against any Ward Account, kept pursuant to section 202 of the Local
 Government Act 1974, or may be apportioned by the authority among those
 accounts.]

       This section was substituted for the original s. 50 by s. 8 (3) of
     the Local Government Amendment Act 1979.
       The expression ``section 46'' was substituted for the expression
     ``sections 46 and 47'' by s. 18 (f) of the Fire Service Amendment
     Act 1986.
