42   Charge for use of another fire brigade




   42. Charge for use of another fire brigade---(1) In this section
 ``fire brigade'' includes any fire-fighting unit maintained by a Fire
 Authority.

   (2) Subject to the terms and conditions of any agreement or
 arrangement made pursuant to any of sections 9, 14, 15 and 16 of this
 Act, or otherwise---
   (a) Where a fire brigade of a Fire Authority attends a fire in the
         district of another Fire Authority, the costs may be met by the
         latter Fire Authority:
   (b) Where a fire brigade of a Fire Authority attends a fire within the
         jurisdiction of the New Zealand Fire Service Commission, the
         costs may be met by the Commission:
   (c) Where a fire brigade of the New Zealand Fire Service Commission
         attends a fire in the district of a Fire Authority, the costs
         may be met by the Fire Authority.
