83. Vacation of office---(1) Any person holding office under an
 appointment made under section 80 (1) of this Act may at any time be
 removed from office by the Governor-General on the recommendation of the
 Minister for inability to perform the duties of office, bankruptcy,
 neglect of duty, or misconduct, proved to the satisfaction of the
 Governor-General.

   (2) Any person holding office under an appointment made under section
 80 (1) of this Act may at any time resign his or her office by notice in
 writing addressed to the Minister.
