82. Continuation in office after term expires---Notwithstanding
 section 81 (1) of this Act, every person appointed under section 80 (1)
 of this Act whose term of office has expired shall, unless he or she
 sooner dies, or resigns, or is removed from office, continue to hold
 office, by virtue of the appointment that has expired, until---
   (a) The person is reappointed under section 80 (1) of this Act; or
   (b) The appointment of a successor; or
   (c) The person is informed in writing by the Minister that the person
         is not to be reappointed and is not to hold office until a
         successor is appointed.
