80   Appointments to Classification Office




   80. Appointments to Classification Office---(1) The Chief Censor and
 the Deputy Chief Censor shall be appointed by the Governor-General by
 Order in Council made on the recommendation of the Minister acting with
 the concurrence of the Minister of Women's Affairs and the Minister of
 Justice.

   (2) The Chief Censor may from time to time, under clause 2 of the
 First Schedule to this Act, appoint as classification officers persons
 to assist the Chief Censor and the Deputy Chief Censor in carrying out
 their functions and powers under this Act.

   (3) In considering whether or not to recommend to the Governor-General
 the appointment, under subsection (1) of this section, of any person,
 the Minister shall have regard not only to the person's personal
 attributes but also to the person's knowledge of or experience in the
 different aspects of matters likely to come before the Classification
 Office.

   (4) In considering the suitability of any person for appointment
 pursuant to subsection (2) of this section, the Chief Censor shall have
 regard not only to the person's personal attributes but also to the
 person's knowledge of or experience in the different aspects of matters
 likely to come before the Classification Office.
