Duration and revocation of interim restriction order
51. Duration and revocation of interim restriction order---(1) Every
interim restriction order shall come into force on the day on which it
is made and, unless sooner revoked, shall remain in force until the
review of the publication to which the order relates is completed by the
Board.
(2) The President of the Board may, on the application of any of the
following persons, or on the President's own motion, revoke an interim
restriction order:
(a) The applicant for the order:
(b) The owner, maker, publisher, or authorised distributor of the
publication to which the order relates:
(c) Any other person who satisfies the President of the Board that the
person is detrimentally affected by the existence of the order.
(3) Every order under this section that revokes an interim restriction
order shall be published in the Gazette, and shall be advertised in such
manner, and notified to such persons, as the President of the Board
shall direct.
