How to submit publications (others)
15. How to submit publications (others)---(1) Every person who wishes
to submit a publication to the Classification Office under section 13
(1) (c) of this Act shall lodge a notice of submission in the prescribed
manner with the Classification Office.
(2) Every notice of submission shall be in the form provided for that
purpose by the Chief Censor and shall be accompanied by the prescribed
fee (if any).
(3) Subject to section 16 of this Act, on receiving a notice of
submission lodged under this section, the Chief Censor shall decide
whether or not to give leave for the publication to be submitted to the
Classification Office.
(4) Where the Chief Censor grants leave under this section in relation
to a publication, the publication shall be deemed to have been submitted
to the Classification Office for a decision on that publication's
classification.
(5) Where, in relation to a publication, the Chief Censor grants, or
refuses to grant, leave under this section, the Chief Censor shall give
written notice of---
(a) That decision; and
(b) In the case of a refusal to grant leave, the reasons for that
decision,---
to the person who lodged the notice of submission.
(6) Where, in relation to a publication, the Chief Censor refuses to
grant leave under this section, every person shall, on request, and on
payment of such fee (if any) as the Classification Office may determine,
be entitled to a copy of the notice given pursuant to subsection (5) of
this section in relation to that refusal.
