39. Transitional provisions relating to regulations, etc.---The
 Governor-General may from time to time, by Order in Council, make
 regulations or orders, as the case may require, for either or both of
 the following purposes:
   (a) Amending any regulations or orders made under the Transport Act
         1962, the Road User Charges Act 1977, the Transport (Vehicle and
         Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, or the Transport
         Services Licensing Act 1989 to facilitate the bringing into
         force of any rules under this Act or to remove any inconsistency
         between such regulations or orders, and such rules, or to do
         both of those things:
   (b) Revoking, in whole or in part, any such regulations or orders for
         a purpose referred to in paragraph (a) of this section.
