Regulations
33. Regulations---The Governor-General may from time to time, by Order
in Council, make regulations for all or any of the following purposes:
(a) Prescribing those breaches of rules made under Part II of this Act
that constitute offences against this Act:
(b) Prescribing those breaches of rules made under Part II of this Act
that constitute infringement offences against this Act:
(c) Prescribing the penalty for each offence prescribed under
paragraph (a) of this section, which,---
(i) In the case of an individual, shall be a fine not
exceeding $5,000; or
(ii) In the case of any other person, shall be a fine not
exceeding $30,000:
(d) Prescribing the infringement fee for each offence prescribed under
paragraph (b) of this section, which,---
(i) In the case of an individual, shall not exceed $2,000; or
(ii) In the case of a body corporate, shall not exceed
$10,000:
(e) Prescribing, or providing for the fixing of, fees and charges
payable under this Act:
(f) Providing for the refund or waiver of any fee or charge, in whole
or in part, in any specified case or class of cases:
(g) Providing for the collection of land transport related fees and
charges:
(h) Such other matters as are contemplated by or necessary for giving
full effect to the provisions of this Act and for its due
administration.
