1   Short Title and commencement 




   1. Short Title and commencement---(1) This Act may be cited as the
 Resource Management Act 1991.

   (2) Except as provided in subsection (3), this Act shall come into
 force on the 1st day of October 1991.

   (3) Part XIII and the Fifth Schedule shall come into force on a date
 to be appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council.
