8. Vacation of office---(1) The Commissioner or the Deputy
 Commissioner may at any time be removed from office by the
 Governor-General for inability to perform the duties of the office,
 bankruptcy, neglect of duty, or misconduct, proved to the satisfaction
 of the Governor-General.

   (2) The Commissioner or the Deputy Commissioner may at any time resign
 the office of Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner by notice in writing
 addressed to the Minister of Labour.
