53. Powers of Commissioner---The Commissioner may, at any time in the
course of making a pay equity assessment, do one or more of the
following things:
(a) Consult with the interested parties or any of them:
(b) In accordance with the Commissioner's powers under this Act, seek
information from such persons as the Commissioner thinks fit:
(c) After consulting the interested parties, redefine the female
occupation or any of the male occupations or all of the
occupations if the Commissioner is satisfied it is necessary to
do so in order to be able to make an accurate pay equity
assessment:
(d) Stop the assessment on any ground set out in section 40 (2) of
this Act.
